Some believe this William is a brother of Walter Palmer which just isn't true.
Some believe William I was named William John.
For all the records, only William I married to Elizabeth Verney and one or two sons named William, one of which came to America, coincide with known dates.
Therefore, it is very possible this William was the second son of William I and Elizabeth Verney named William after the first son named William died!
